Rogaška Slatina, Šmarje pri Jelšah in Ljubljana
The Festival was conceived in Šmarje pri Jelšah, Berlin and Ljubljana in 2003 by a brother and a sister and two friends, Lucija Stupica, David Stupica and Urška P. Černe. When the Cultural Association Pranger was established, the philosophers Goran Č. Potočnik and Maja Ratej joined in. In 2011 Lucija Stupica, the winner of the European Hubert-Burda-Poetry Prize in 2010, left the organization board of the festival to write her new poetry collection and dramaturge and translator Urška Brodar, law student Lana Gobec, germanist Matej Meža and literary scholar Urban Šrimpf joined in. New recruits in year 2012 were poet, professor of Slovenian language and graduate of comparative literature Marjetka Krapež; translator and PhD student of german literature Tina Štrancar; poet, student of philosophy and comparative literature Blaž Jelenc and poet Gašper Torkar, student of sociology and comparative literature. Since 2013 Eva Jelenc, Laura Repovš, Ana Petrovčič, Katja Gorečan, Maja Šučur, Grega Ulen and Jaka Smerkolj have joined the organization board of the festival.
